Nominations for Caste Chair / Judge Guidelines:

Any Caste member in good standing, (not restore/delete) and is currently active in the
building and maintaining of ships, roadways and buildings within a city and/or Gor...
and has reached Master level of the Caste, is eligible to be nominated to a chair position with the exception of 1st Chair which must be held by a male member of the caste. Or has reached Journeyman level of the Caste, is eligible to be nominated to a judge position.
(It would be hard for an Apprentice to oversee a Journeyman, or make judgments
regarding building while still learning under a mentor etc.)

The Chairs and Judges positions are as follows: 

First Chair - First Chair over see's the caste as a whole, Holds monthly and when needed biweekly meetings. When required the First Chair will have final say over caste matters.

Second Chair - Second Chair over see's and sets up training classes such as Naval combat ect... Also stands in for First Chair when the First Chair is unable to be present.

Third Chair - Third Chair handles applications and operations within the caste. All applications are sent to Third Chair. Third Chair reviews building logs and mentoring, makes recommendations to First Chair for promotions.

Judges ( 2 ) - Judges are just that. When an issue arises that requires a larger council and the judges expertise, they will be called in to aid the chairs and give their verdicts upon the circumstances at hand. Judges will be required to be impartial and listen fully to all sides involved within the case at hand, then present their verdict to the First Chair.

The Guidelines:

*You may nominate ONE person per Chair and Judge position.

*The nomination ballot is due back no later than ( Date will be set when elections are due )

*All accepting nominees will be placed on the election ballot. The election ballot
will be sent to each caste member in good standing.

*If a nominee has not accepted or declined the nomination in writing to the Caste Chairs / Judges
position within a one week period from being notified, his/her name will be dropped from the ballot.

*You will have 7 days in which to reply to the Caste Chair / Judge vote.

*Winners will be announced within 3 days of the deadline for voting.

*Term of office shall be 6 mun months.
