I woke this morning of course with a draft of what I was to write here.  Something about current times.  The struggles within Castes.  Battles among cities.  Kur and Panther girl attacks or some championship fought some where.

Well none of these made it pass my ink well this day.  Today I will to ask those of Gor to celebrate all that is good of our wondrous land.  The strong honest Warriors.  The loyal and focused Scribes.  The endeavoring ever seeking to heal Physicians.  The Builders working on the next magnificent buildings for our cities.  Never to forget the Iniates who bring us the word of the Kings and warn us of our ways.

This brutal world of ours has some truly beautiful sights in it.  The birth of a new child.  The larl in all its wild glorious splender.  Could there really be a place better than this out there?  I highly doubt it.  So while the faires come put aside personal agendas and bias and enjoy them in the traditions and meanings for which they were designed. 

For trade and the celebration of life and Gorean people regardless of where they are from.  The Merchants will surely bring their bests. It is a time after all when peasants and Ubars all walk the same streets at the same time.  Conversing and sharing in spirits and delicious food.   

So keep that in mind as you set out to destroy someone or some place this season of Se'Var Faire.  Go instead and enjoy the contests and games at Sardar.  For we all know it is a personal journey we all must take.
