There he stood, so proud, so tall
My belly quivered, my pulse raced
Each time my name he'd call
Confusion filled me, tears stained my cheeks
I found my heart yearning
not understanding what it is i seek

Ached for Him it seemed
Tore at my very core
Burning deep into my soul
realizing it is He i adore

All my eyes saw was Him
Every breath he took
How each muscle moved under His skin
His eyes, their gaze, so strong and bold
A glance makes me breathless
feeling His power and control

i knew
He had brought me to my knees
