The Lady En'Scribe of
Cos, Trinity Laren, was lost upon Thassa. Her ship was sunk during a
fierce storm. The Lady was the Free Companion of the Warrior of Cos,
Cicero Damascus. She was a talented and respected scribe, and her loss
is felt throughout the Ubarate. Her pyre will be held privately soon. |

The Se'Safora of Lucien
Iteratus, Luciens faera, was lost in the same ship sinking that took the
life of our talented En'Scribe. |

The slave, Ards kree, was found dead on
Cos by her Master, Ard Pantrell. The cause of her death is unknown at
this time. |
It is with the deepest
sadness that the death of Stone Hawk Quebach is reported.
Stone was found by two Hunters at the
border of the Northern Forest. He was badly wounded and was only
able to give a short explanation of
what happened to him before a kur attacked. Evidently a kur had
picked up the blood trail. The Hunters managed to escape from
the kur, though it was already too late for Stone.
The Hunters relayed what they had heard from
Stone. He had been lured to a tavern in Ar by those of his own
caste under the false pretense that a meeting was to be held.
Once they reached the tavern they turned upon him and attacked.
Two crossbow bolts found their mark deep into his chest. Knowing
he was mortally wounded he escaped and attempted to make it to
the camp of his sister, Merideath, within the Northern Forest.
No one knows what he intended to do if he made it to the camp,
for that is when the kur attacked. What the kur left behind was
gathered later by his family.
So it was on the 3rd day of the 4th hand of
Se'Kara, in the year 10,158 Contasta Ar, that Stone Hawk Quebach
walked through the gates of the City of Dust. His many friends
and family mourn his loss.
A pyre is to be held upon the grounds of
Darks Estate on the 1st day of the 7th Passage Hand, 10,158
Contasta Ar, (10/12/08), at the 17th Ahn, (7:00 PM EST).

The girl was being
sent to Shank RoTen of Brundisium as a gift of good will. Word
reached back to Cos from Brundisium from Shank himself. The ship
carrying the girl had sunk, all aboard were lost. Knowing the
unforgiving nature of Thassa and after sending Ships of Cos to
search, few bodies were found, but one amongst the recovered was the
body of his slave
Luciens Aine
She was, along with the galliant Sailors of Cos that died with the
shipwreck, given a burial upon Thassa. She will be missed. |
