Trevian Physicians produced the amazing ointment known as Trevian salve. It was actually developed by the Priest Kings. Its phenomenal healing powers are now known throughout Gor. The Sardar Fairs served to spread the word and distribute samples to the larger cities. The salve is not in great supply, therefore the cost can be prohibitive. Its properties allow a wound to heal in less than a day without a trace depending on its severity. The scant supply of the ointment necessitates the sparing use. Most injuries would be treated in the normal fashion.

With a graceful movement she rose and went back again to the chests against the wall. She returned with a small tube of ointment.
"They are deeper than I thought," she said.
With the tip of her finger she began to work the ointment into the cuts. It burned quite a bit.
...
"The ointment will soon be absorbed," she said. "In a few minutes there will be no trace of it, nor of the cuts."
I whistled.
"The physicians of Treve," I said, "have marvelous medicines."
"It is an ointment of Priest-Kings," she said.

Colum is currently off on an adventure as soon as this warrior returns I am sure you will read about it here !

I was near enough to 16 en'vars when I stowed away on a caravan for Port Kar.  Mistaken for a wagon hand as long as I was not looking idle people fairly much left me alone.  The food was served at an open fire and my face familiar so when I ladled myself a tin plate full not much was thought of it.  "Aw, man this is the life."  I thought to myself.  Of course things changed when I hit the docks.  I was busted for illegal entry into the city.  Seems the Admiral that was running the court that hand was short of deckhands for his next voyage so my sentence was to serve as a deck swabbie on his ramship's next voyage.  Thus my life on the Thassa began.  Hard work, quick wits and knowing who not to trust comes in real handy with this sort of life.  And the Admiral was quick to teach me fairness was not a word nor standard used in Port Kar.
