
| ~1st Floor ~ Main Hall and Kitchen

You
enter the Great Room through two sets of heavy wood doors, alcoves to
either side for the placing of capes, coats and arms if so
requested. The room has hight beamed ceilings, polished stone
floors, and fragrant shrubs placed about. The walls hang with
tapestries and a collection of weapons from the far reaches of Gor.
To the left, the low tables are surrounded by the finest black sleen
pelts, an oil lamp on each casts their glow about the room. The main
hearth roars with a fire, giving its warmth to the room.. Above the mantle
hangs Sir Cal, his prized sword, a gift from Will Aieran,
then Ubar of
Talmont. To the right is the entry to the servery. First door
to the left is the hallway to the Server Masters quarters, next the door
to the cold room and to the far wall, the entrance to the store
room. The servery fire blazes on the right wall and the counter is
to the center of the room. shelves line the walls for storage of
serving wares.

| The floors housing the swords of the house are identical, each room consists of a bed, a chair and table and a chest for storage. The floors are polished stone, each sword decorates the wall as he sees fit. some with weapons collections, some with tapestries denoting great battles in the history of Gor. Entered
through a hallway, to the left is the family rooms. The stone floor is
covered with a fine carpet from the mills of Ar and a large bed to the
left as you enter. A sitting area and the fireplace in each
room complete these chambers. To the right is the Masters chambers with its scarlet rug of his caste covering and warming the stone floor. To the left as you enter is the low bed with its two side tables and oil lamps. To the right, a closet and a small servery complete this wall. There is seating for four around a small table and a large fire place on the far wall. Two fur covered chairs sit by the fire along with several fine larl furs. To the right is the office with the Master's large marble desk and cucule chair. A small servery in the corner for the use of the Masters suite. Tucked in among the floras is the Masters bath, their subtle scent freshening the room. |
| The hall to the free women's floor is tiled with polished stone, leading to a fragrant floral fountain and a small court. Off the court are the doors to the individual chambers, each tiled in a pastel tile. The rooms are all similar, containing a wall of vines and flowers that lend their scents to the rooms. A carpeted sitting area is graced with a table and two upholstered chairs and a low bed, all color coordinated to the rooms. The bath area has a cabinet containing oils, perfumes, and soaps. This
floor contains the house library, the scribe's office with desk, scroll rack and cupboards for supplies, two guestrooms, a small bath and servery. Scroll racks line one wall of the library. Above the racks, a treasure given to the house, an exquisite hand-quilted banner of the House logo, done in black and scarlet with golden threads A large fireplace helps to keep the floor heated, two reading areas at each end of the room, stools, tables, and benches scattered around convenient for all who wish to read or relax. Torches set at close intervals provide light for reading in the evening hours. In the entrance hall, a small reflecting pool with a fountain adds to the serenity |
| The
armory floor of the Keep consists of large quarters for the ensword and storage of arms and weapons. The large room is reserved for the swords to spar and hone their skills, racks of lances and chests of equipment line the walls. |

| The staircase widens to broad steps of polished stone and fragrant vines and flowers. continue around the walls in a burst of color. The floor is of polished marble, warm to the feet , as it is heated by the same means as the three pools of the bath.. Each pool is scented with a different bath oil to smooth the skin and please the senses. Polished stone benches are scattered about for sitting along with two larger tables for massage pleasure. Two small decorative pools are surrounded by more foliage. Potted plants are scattered to add to the ambiance. On either side of the staircase are changing rooms and a small servery, and shelves filled with towels, robes, bath oils and soaps... | Baths |
| As you descend the stairs, a large hallway spreads out, 8 slave cages, 4x4ft in size, line the walls on either side (4 to a side) . The hallway empties into a large room, a tall, wooden whipping post central in the room, forboding site to any slave that enters.....to your left, a large branding table stands alone, an assortment of branding irons, and a large forge to it's side, ready to have a kajira pinned to it's surface. Slave rings are mounted at various intervals along the walls. A rack at the side of the post holds an assortment of whips, and kurts, for Master's pleasure, to use in disciplining slaves. Behind the wall you find a large marble and stone bath room, 3 small pools each surrounded by benches, where lies oils and scrubbing sands, an almost heavenly place, for kajira and kajiru to bathe and perfume themselves, towels and such laying folded neatly on the benches. Returning to the large hall, on either side of the stairs are two small rooms. The first room contains chests of silks, and other adornments for slaves, a place where bells and dancing silks, cosmetics and such are donned. Here also, shelves lined with goblets, trays, and platters all used for training of kajira. The second room contain sleeping furs, a large couch with a ring at it's foot, and chests, locked, with kalana, and slave wine, a room where Master can command His girls to sleep, or to serve Him quietly. | Kennels![]() |
