The Red Savages are another primitive folk and they live in the Barrens region of Gor. Their culture is more fully described in Red Savages. They have many of their own legends and superstitious beliefs and I wanted to mention a couple here. They hold that being honest is extremely important and if a warrior lies, then his shield will not protect him in battle. They also regard both reality and dreams to be real. In your dreams, you may enter the mysterious medicine world. This will permit you to speak with the dead and with animals. You also acquire the ability to travel vast distances but still wake up in your bed. At certain times, they even believe that reality and the medicine world form a juncture and become one. Spells, which they often call medicine, are important to them. Such spells can be used for good or ill.
