Items needed:
Three large wash basins
Thirty Redfruit
Twenty Nine Keys
One treasure chest, with lock and key
One treasure - At this time a sword is being constructed for the
prize
One judge
The three basins are filled with cold water, and ten red fruit. In
each red fruit is a key. One of the keys will open the lock on the treasure
chest containing the prize. Men will hold their hands behind their back and
go head first into the basins to try and catch a red fruit with their teeth.
Their keys are held until all red fruit are caught and then they can each
try their keys in the lock. The one who catches the winning key will be the
victor. Each attempt to bob for a red fruit will cost 2 silvers. The
collected coins will be donated to the Fund for the Family's of Men who have
fallen in the service of Schendi.
Thirty numbers will be listed. Each person who wants to try bobbing
for red fruit will roll 1 30 sided dice for each attempt, and the number
shown will be the number they catch. If they roll a number that has already
been caught it is a miss and they can pay another 2 silver and try again.
The contest is finished when either all the red fruit has been caught, or
nobody wants another try. The judge will have the winning number. Since the
event is for the men, a free woman to judge the event would be appreciated.
She would keep track of who caught what number and who goes in which order.
The men would go in the order they sign up for the event.
